2013 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Picks For DraftStreet Lineups

One of the light hearted events on the PGA Tour is the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am featuring a field of not only 156 PGA Tour Golfers, but 156 amateur players as well. Many of those amateurs are celebrities. It’s all serious business until Bill Murray makes his way on to Pebble Beach…then all bets are off!

Fresh from his dominating win at last week’s 2013 Waste Management Phoenix Open, Phil Mickelson will be the favorite to win again and defend his 2012 title. Phil has won this PGA tournament 4 times and given how he played last week, a 5th win could be in the cards.

2013 Pebble Beach National Pro Am

Those fantasy golf players who followed our lead last week should have scored a nice fortune as one of our fantasy longshots Ryan Palmer finished in 5th with 32.6 fantasy points at DraftStreet.

This week, Phil will be looked at by most fantasy golfers, but at a price of $36,197 you had better be able to find the fantasy sleepers at the 2013 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (and NO, BILL Murray or Andy Garcia are not available at DraftStreet as your sleeper picks).

Below are our 2013 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am picks and predictions to play at DraftStreet...

Suggested DraftStreet Lineup

Hunter Mahan PGA golferHunter Mahan - $20,175 – As mentioned in our Daily Fantasy Golf Strategies, you have to play the hot hand and Mahan has been in our lineup now for several weeks and keeps racking us up large fantasy points at DraftStreet. Mahan has played well at Pebble Beach, even having a 2nd place finish 2 years ago, so we will ride him until he fails us.

Aaron Baddeley PGA golferAaron Baddeley - $16,203 – Like Mahan, we have played Baddeley in our DraftStreet lineups for a while, but he may be a risky pick this week as he had a poor finish to last week’s tourney and may be running out of gas. He has finished 4th and 6th the last 2 years at Pebble Beach and at a lower salary cap price, we still have to pick him for our fantasy lineup.

Jimmy Walker PGA golferJimmy Walker - $17,368 - So far in 2013, Jimmy Walker has been Dyn-O-Mite! He’s made all four of his cuts and finished 4th at the Farmers Insurance Open. Even better, Walker has finished in 9th the last two years at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and has made his last 13 cuts. These are stats and numbers we like when we make picks and predictions, so Walker looks good on our team.

Brian Stuard PGA golferBrian Stuard - $13,261 – Stuard has played well so far in 2013 and took a week off to rest up. He is low priced for our Salary Cap fantasy team, and given the he is 3 for 3 on making the cut this year, he makes a nice sleeper pick at a low price this week.

James Hahn PGA golferJames Hahn - $14,111 – James Hahn is the newest YouTube Sensation with his Gangnam Style dance on the 16th at TPC Scottsdale. Aside from his dance prowess, the kid can play! He has made all 4 of his cuts and finished 4th at the Humana. He even shot 9 under on the final round in Phoenix. With such a light-hearted event this week, and at only $14,111 for our Salary Cap at DraftStreet, Hahn makes for a nice pick.

Ryan Palmer PGA golferRyan Palmer - $18,671 – Palmer was our so called sleeper fantasy pick last week and he didn’t disappoint. He has always been a streaky player and given two top 10 finishes in the last two PGA tournaments he is worth a pick for our team yet again.

Total DraftStreet Salary - $99,789
