Early Favorites to Win The 2015 Masters

Jimmy WalkerJimmy Walker – In his first ever trip to Augusta – Walker finished tied for 8th! This guy is a fantasy golf stud making cuts and finishing high in top tournaments. He has the game to win each week and should be a guy you build your salary cap team around.

Rickie FowlerRickie Fowler - All Fowler did in major tournaments last year was finish in the top 5. In fact, the Masters was his worst finish of the 4 majors. Fowler is one of the golfers whose game is ready for the next level and a win at Augusta would not be completely unexpected.

Best Fantasy Golf SitesBrandt SnedekerBrandt Snedeker - Call it the Butch Harmon factor, but everyone Butch coaches makes a run each year it seems. Last year Rickie Fowler was a fantasy golf beast...coached by Butch Harmon. Halfway through last PGA Tour season Harmon took on a new project…Brandt Snedeker. He has won the AT&T Pebble Beach in February and has a good history at Augusta.

Bubba WatsonBubba Watson – Last year we had Bubba on our list of who will win the Masters…and he won! Although his game is again strong on the PGA Tour, we don’t see him winning back-to-back. As a pick for your fantasy team, how can you go wrong with a 2 time Masters Champion playing at an elite level.

Jason DayJason Day – Take away the injuries that Jason Day had in 2014, and he possibly could have outplayed McIlroy throughout the year. Every tourney Day was in he could have won last year, and his wrist seems to be strong again. Look for Day to make a big run in Georgia and finish in the top 10.

Rory McIlroyRory McIlroy – The world’s number 1 golfer only needs to play 4 solid rounds to win. I know it sounds simple, but at Augusta, McIlroy has shot one round of 77 or worse each of the last 4 years…if he eliminates that one round he will complete his career grand slam. 2015 is almost a given for his green jacket, as it could potentially be his 3rd major win in a row having won the 2014 Open Championship and the 2014 PGA Championship. McIlroy is the heavy favorite to win the 2015 Masters.

What to do about Tiger Woods? – Simple…STAY AWAY! If you put him in a Masters Fantasy Golf lineup…you will lose!
