2015 Masters Fantasy Golf Picks - Favorites To Win

2015 Masters Fantasy Golf Picks

Masters Green JacketThe 2015 Masters Tournament is getting closer by the day. DraftKings has already announced their Masters Fantasy Golf Contest and Victiv.com has also announced a $30,000 Green Jacket Major Fantasy Golf Contest for the Masters.

We are partners with DraftKings and receive compensation for new players joining through our links. This helps us to provide quality content to our followers.

Shortly, other sites such as Fantasy Feud will post their fantasy golf contests for the 2015 Masters and we can then officially begin think about who to pick for our 2015 Masters Fantasy Golf Leagues.

Whether you are entering the DraftKings Fantasy Golf Millionaire Maker contest or are in a Masters office pool, you need to start thinking about which fantasy golf picks are going to be the anchor for your lineups.

Last year, in this same column, we had Bubba Watson as a top fantasy golf pick for the Masters… and he won his second green jacket at Augusta. So, below, we have our 2015 favorites to win the Masters that you should focus on setting your lineup around.

DraftKings Millionaire Maker

Rory McIlroyRory McIlroy – Top of the list is where the #1 Golfer in the world should be. Most believe that the 2015 Masters is Rory’s to win - he has won the last 2 majors (The Open Championship and the PGA Championship) and is playing some of his best golf ever. Rory will be an expensive player for DraftKings Millionaire Maker Contest, but he could pay off big time if you set the rest of your lineup well.

Best Fantasy Golf SitesBubba WatsonBubba Watson – How do you not include him on a list of Masters Fantasy Golf Picks? Defending Masters Champion and 2-time winner, Bubba Watson already has a win this season and will be heading in with a ton of confidence. I can’t say that Bubba will win, because repeating at Augusta is tough, but he should still be a top 10 finisher in 2015.

Jimmy WalkerJimmy Walker – Jimmy Walker had an amazing run last year on the PGA Tour and 2015 started off just as well. We also had Walker on this list last year and he finished 8th in his first appearance at Augusta. He has proven to not be intimidated by the historic course and as one of the favorites to win the 2015 Masters Tournament, he should make the cut - you can count on him being a contender throughout the weekend.

Jordan SpiethJordan Spieth – The kid can play and reminds us a lot of Rory McIlroy when he started his career. Problem is, Spieth has off weeks, but has shown that he can rise to the challenge of a major tournament and was a contender at the Masters last year until finishing in a tie for second place. Look for Spieth to be another solid 2015 Masters Fantasy Golf Pick if you are doing a lineup for the big DK contest.

Jim FurykJim Furyk – You won't find Jim Furyk on many lists as a top pick to win the Masters, because he usually gets lost with all the other golfers that are favored to win. Furyk probably won't win the Green Jacket, but as a fantasy golf pick he should definitely be on your list. Aside from missing the cut in 2010, Furyk has been a beast making cuts at Augusta and normally finishing in the top 25. If he is a decent price at DraftKings, make sure he is slotted into your lineup.

Dustin JohnsonDustin Johnson – Suspended most of 2014, Johnson is back and for a while now he’s been knocking on the door of the fantasy golf elite. With a win last month at the WGC Cadillac Championship, DJ has shown that he still has enough game to be a top golfer on the PGA Tour. How will he do at the 2015 Masters? Not sure if he’ll win, but if you put him in your DraftKings fantasy golf lineup I don’t think you’ll be regretting it.

What to do about Tiger Woods at the Masters?

As we wrote in our 2015 Masters Preview and Forecast - STAY AWAY! Even if he does play, he won't win the 2015 Masters and will be overpriced at most fantasy golf sites.
