Fantasy Golf Picks for 2015 PGA Championship

Best Fantasy Golf SitesSergio Garcia Sergio Garcia – Garcia hasn’t finished worse than 37th in a PGA Tournament all year. He still wants to win a major before his career ends although I suspect he has more of a drive to win some of the other high profile ones. Garcia missed the cut both times he’s played at Whistling Straits but he is a consistent golfer and should be a solid pick for your fantasy golf contest.

Patrick Reed Patrick Reed – Although I am not a huge Patrick Reed fan, I was happy with his 20th place finish at the British Open as our fantasy pick. How will he do at the 2015 PGA Championship? According to him he’s a Top 5 Player in the world so if you believe him, he is worth a play for your fantasy golf lineup.

Jimmy Walker Jimmy Walker – All he does is make cuts! So Walker’s record in the majors in 2015 has been pretty average but he has made the cut in almost every PGA tournament and has played the weekend in all 3 majors. He is a sure thing to make the cut, but his price is a bit steep at DFS golf sites which makes him a harder fantasy pick to take. Take him if you want a guy to score all weekend, just know that he won’t be a bargain fantasy golf pick.

Brooks Koepka Brooks Koepka – Koepka has been pretty far under the radar this year but he has been a great play for fantasy golfers in 2015. Whistling Straits isn’t a scary course so Koepka should make the cut and could make some nice noise at the 2015 PGA Championship.

Hideki MatsuyamaHideki Matsuyama – He is still an undervalued fantasy golf player at most daily fantasy golf sites – or at least he was. I would suspect that he finally gets valued based on how good he really is. Many top fantasy players (us included) have been riding Matsuyama all year and cashing in nicely, no need to fix what isn’t broken.

Rickie FowlerRickie Fowler – Hasn’t had as good a year on the PGA Tour as last year even though he won the Players Championship in May. He has the talent to play with guys that have the best chance to Win the 2015 PGA Championship, and a 30th place finish at the British Open may open the door for him to end 2015 off with a big win..
