Who Will Win The Masters Tournament in 2017? Top Pick To Win The Masters

Who Will Win The Masters in 2017?

Masters Tournament 2017So you’ve check out our Masters Sleeper picks and our fantasy golf picks for the Masters Tournament but the most important question is – Who will win the 2017 Masters?

Now last year we had in our Masters Sleeper Picks Danny Willett who ended up winning so we “technically” picked the winner in 2016.

If you are still wasting your time playing at Yahoo and are looking for Yahoo Fantasy Golf Picks then the guys below are the guys you want to focus your attention on. Hopefully after you’ve done your Yahoo Fantasy Golf lineup you will try out this FREE Fantasy Golf Contest for $100,000 in cash just for the Masters.

Anyhow, we have done the research and scouted the players and have come up with a list of which PGA Tour Players have the best shot at winning the Masters for 2017 and we make our bold prediction of “Who Will Win the Masters” this year.

Some of the names we have already mentioned in our 2017 Masters Fantasy Golf Picks page which are best used for creating your FanDuel Picks for the Masters. For those that didn’t know yet – FanDuel is now offering up golf games for fantasy players and will have a HUGE fantasy golf contest for the big tournament at Augusta.

Our Masters picks are all guys that should be in the hunt on Sunday for the Green Jacket and are all guys that you can build your fantasy golf lineup around. If you are playing at FanDuel you will want to look at picking them for round 3 and 4 since they all should be playing throughout the weekend.

Here are our Picks to Win the Masters in 2017?

Hideki MatsuyamaHideki Matsuyama – I feel like a proud father watching his son grow up when I watch Matsuyama play. For a couple of years now he has been my go to fantasy golf pick for almost every tournament because he was also so undervalued and now he is such a favorite for tournaments that he is too hard to slot in sometimes. Matsuyama has been lights out the last year or so and has two Top 10 finishes at Augusta the last two years. He will be a costly salary cap pick for this HUGE Fantasy Golf Contest but still worth the pick.

Henrik StensonHenrik Stenson – Stenson never makes a lot of noise at Augusta but always seems to be one of the top players of the week when Sunday is finished. He is one of the best golfers in the world and should once again be in the hunt for a green jacket.

Justin RoseJustin Rose – Has not finished worse that 25th since 2008 and that includes 3 Top 10 finishes. He’s a great for play for your Yahoo Fantasy Golf Picks but if you are taking a shot at FanDuel’s Masters Fantasy Golf Contest then pick him as your Rd. 3 & 4 pick.

Dustin JohnsonDustin Johnson – He is riding a wave of success since winning the US Open last year and will be a heavy favorite to win the Masters this year after posting two Top 10 finishes the last 2 years (T4, T6). He just won the WGC Dell Match Play and seems ready to take aim at the PGA Tour Field for the Masters. Not sure he can overcome some of the pressures that Augusta brings on the final Sunday but he will be up on the first board most likely.

Rory McIlroyRory McIlroy – For Rory, finishing in the top 10 at the Masters seems to be easy, to win he needs to avoid having that one round that he seems to shoot a few shots over par. We all know that Rory can easily blow away a field but the problem is knowing when that Rory McIlroy will appear. He is as good a bet as any to win the Masters and a solid pick for your FanDuel lineup to have as a 3-4 round player but I still think that I need to go with the guy below to put on the Green Jacket.

And...the winner of the 2017 Masters is…

Jordan SpiethJordan Spieth – What can I say, I don’t really like Spieth but he seems to know Augusta really well. He has played here 3 times with 1 win and 2 second place finishes. Heck even if he doesn’t win the Masters you know that he will be right up there on the leaderboard. So far he’s been on a tear in 2017 on the PGA tour so he’s probably the best shot if you truly need to take one name as to who will win the 2017 Masters Tournament.

If you can pick the winner with the correct 2017 Masters Sleeper Picks you could be much richer!
