Picking who will win the PGA Championship is not easy and the list of potential winners is more wide open then the other 3 golf majors.
The championship tends to play like a regular PGA Tour event; no crazy winds like the Open, no insane greens like the US Open and not as much pressure as the prestigious course of Augusta at the Masters. Most of the top golfers in the world will be able to take a run at Quail Hollow Club this year and you can look to the Wells Fargo Championship for some recent course history.
Here are our Top picks to win the PGA Championship in 2017:

Dustin Johnson
It seems like that injury at the Masters completely derailed his momentum because since then he’s been good but not as great as he was pre-injury. Had a strong 3rd round at Royal Birkdale but was too far off and basically mailed in his final round.

Rory Mcilroy
Really never got it going at Royal Birkdale but he did finish tied for 7th. He was dealing with an injury but that seems to be past him. Wonder if seeing that Jordan is going for the career slam will ignite McIlroy into playing better this week.

Rickie Fowler
Played just ok at the Open and this PGA Championship could just well be where it all comes together. His golf game is clicking right now and he’s had three great finishes at the majors. He will once again be on the leaderboard come Sunday.

Jon Rahm
Forget the blow-up at the US Open and that he was just average at the Open Championship. In between that he had a win and a 10th place finish on the European Tour. Rahm is the real deal and will be in contention on Sunday.
And our prediction to win the 2017 PGA Championship:

Hideki Matsuyama
Although pretty much everyone on the list above can win and I really like Rory, Spieth and Fowler to contend, I will have a bunch of DFS lineups with Matsuyama being the core guy. He’s now No. 3 in the world and just seems close to the top of the leaderboard in almost every tournament he’s in. I have no doubt about a Top 10 (maybe even Top 5) finish and I'll likely pair with with someone above for a solid 2 starting point.
