2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship Picks

2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship LogoIgnoring our Daily Fantasy Golf Strategies article, we broke one of our cardinal rules last week - Make Sure Your Choices Are Playing!

We fully admit to having erred when we decided to draft Jason Day only to have him pull out of the 2013 Honda Classic. Luckily, the opponent we played made the same error and we ended up winning our DraftStreet head to head matchup anyway.

Lesson learned...make sure your choices are playing! This is why it is so important to do your homework when playing daily fantasy golf.

In any event, this week, the PGA Tour offers the 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship being played at the Trump Doral (used to be just "Doral" but The Donald has to apply his brand to everything)...a 7,334 yard, par 72 course with a total prize purse of $8,750,000 and 550 FedEx Cup points up for grabs. The 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship features, once again, the top golfers in the world. With a field of 64 golfers, your fantasy golf picks at DraftStreet will feature all big names, now we just need to pick the right ones.

Below are our Draftstreet Fantasy Golf 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship Picks and Predictions. Again, if you are looking for expert golf picks for the 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship, check out GolfBanker and cash in like many others have already this season.

Our WGC-Cadillac Championship Lineup For DraftStreet

Bill Haas PGA GolfBill Haas - $16,765 – Haas has played well in 2013 with three top 10 finishes and skipped the Honda Classic so he should be fairly well rested for the 2013 WGC-Cadillac Championship. He finished in 6th place in 2010 and will look to keep his recent play going.

Carl Petterson PGA GolfCarl Pettersson - $12,908 – Pettersson is the first of our low cost budget picks. Pettersson has the distance off the tee to play well at Doral. He has two 35th place finishes, but has played well dating back to last year.

Charles Howell III PGA GolfCharles Howell III - $16,041 – Howell has only missed one cut in 2013 and has three top 10 finishes on the year already. He tied for 17th last year at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and should play well this week as well.

Keegan Bradley PGA GolfKeegan Bradley - $21,326 – Bradley is having a good start to 2013 and always plays well against the top competition on the PGA Tour. He finished in 4th at the Honda Classic last week and should play throughout the weekend to boost out our DraftStreet fantasy golf points.

Brian Gay PGA GolfBrian Gay - $11,085 – Our other low cost budget pick for our DraftStreet lineups this week, Gay already has a win in 2013. He should play well enough in this tourney to help our fantasy golf team win at DraftStreet this week.

Hunter Mahan PGA GolfHunter Mahan - $21,765 – Hunter has made us a lot of money at DraftStreet this year, so I kind of feel obligated to take him based on how well he has played in 2013. He lost in the final of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, so he has shown that he can play with the big boys of the PGA Tour.

Total DraftStreet Salary - $99,890
