2016 PLAYERS Championship Sleeper Picks

TPC Sawgrass Island HoleSo how did we do the last time we wrote a Sleeper Picks page?

Our 2016 Masters Sleeper Picks had eventual winner Danny Willett as well as 2 Longshots both make the cut and play well.

We did really well in our Fantasy Golf Contest entries using our fantasy golf sleeper picks as all but one made the cut.

This time around we look at the 2016 PLAYERS Championship Sleepers and Longshot Picks to help you win a fantasy golf contest like this one HUGE Fantasy Golf Contest.

No matter what type of fantasy golf contest you are playing in this week, the Sleepers we have listed are guys that are in the lower half of salary cap in most daily fantasy golf sites. Player values aren’t listed until the week of so we are guessing a bit based on past values as to who will be a sleeper pick for the TPC.

2016 TPC Sleepers and Longshot Picks

Patton Kizzire Patton Kizzire – Kizzire will be making his first trip to TPC Sawgrass to play the island hole for the 2016 PLAYERS Championship but the rookie has had a solid PGA Tour season so far and will be underpriced at all top fantasy golf sites. He has the poise not to be rattled and will be a low cost for you to use as a Sleeper Pick this week.

Will Wilcox Will Wilcox – Wilcox fans love him because he actually talks about how his golf game is for DFS players to decide if they should pick him or not. He tied for 15th at the Zurich and has put up some solid numbers lately. He has never faced the island hole at TPC Sawgrass so his 2016 PLAYERS Championship will be a new one.

Russell Henley Russell Henley – Henley has been pretty bad in 2016 but has shown some recent signs of breaking back out. He has finished in the top 25 the last 2 tries at TPC Sawgrass so the island hole doesn’t scare him and had a strong showing two weeks ago at the Zurich Classic. He is a low cost fantasy pick that could be a great value pick too.

Kevin NaKevin Na – Every Sleepers list it seems I have Kevin Na on it for two simple reasons - He is always undervalued at fantasy golf sites and he makes cuts on a high percentage basis. He will once again be in the lower end of cost for your salary cap lineup and he's a great value fantasy golf picks at that price.

Bill Haas Bill Haas – In a field of great PGA Tour players, Bill Haas always gets forgotten about. Top DFS sites usually have him listed in the lower salary cap range and all he does is make cuts and score fantasy points. Last year he finished in 4th at the TPC so sticking in your lineup is a must for this year.

Daniel Berger Daniel Berger – Berger has had a quiet year in 2016 on the PGA Tour but most DFS gamers know his name because he brings good value as a fantasy golf pick in most of his tournaments. He finished 20th 2 weeks ago and should be in good form for the Players Championship this week.

That's our list of Sleepers for the PLAYERS Championship. Use these picks to fill out your roster for the FREE Fantasy Golf Contest!

Super Deep Longshot Pick for the 2016 TPC

Tiger WoodsAt the time of this being posted, there were rumors that Tiger Woods could be making his comeback at the PLAYERS Championship.

Is Tiger Woods a great Sleeper pick to win the 2016 PLAYERS Championship…No! If you want to take a longshot to win the 2016 TPC, throw a dart on the wall and go with that name instead but if you want a low cost player with a bunch of upside for your fantasy golf team, Tiger Woods could be a play worth making this week just in case.
